Before you buy your next bass, consider shipping it to me. I will provide you with a perfectly functioning bass as soon as you take it out of the box. For custom or upgraded bass guitars, I cater to do-it-yourselfers as well as providing you the option of having me do it for you. Any upgrades I make far exceed those offered through Fender, SX, and many other companies.

Most large scale bass guitar companies produce their basses in an assembly line manner where they're just not paying enough attention to the details. For example; I've seen frets that differentiate from the others by as much as 10 to 12 thousandths of an inch, pretty much ensuring your strings are going to buzz all over the board. This is why most companies send their basses out with moderately high action. I know that sounds extreme but I've shown time and time again that without addressing the dimentioning of the frets, you can pretty much guarantee you'll be frustrated with a poorly performing instrument.
