Gypsy Upgrades and Add-Ons SX Gypsy Rose for Gals and SX Gypsy for Guys
The following upgrades and add-ons do not come standard with the Gypsy Rose Package and are ONLY available through Buzzard's Bass Shop.
The Gypsy bass package deal can be custom painted for those of us that are not too girlish. After all, if you want an SX 32" Scale PJ Bass in any combination of upgrades available, where else are you gonna find if you don't get it here~?
You most likely know what you already want to do, or have done, to your bass, but here's a list that will give you some typical upgrade ideas.
Keep in mind that most of the time your bass will be just fine right from the factory, but, if you're a stickler for perfection, or don't know how to properly perform a setup yourself, it may pay to have a general inspection and intonation done.
• Inspection & Intonation involves disassembly of neck and pickguard to inspect for possible cracks, electronics problems, or other flaws; then reassembly, tuning, and intonating.
Consider Buzzard's Quality Controls~!
If any flaws are found I return the product to Rondo for another bass which saves you the headaches of inspection and having to deal with shipping. It also only takes one day each way to get a replacement from where I live.
• Simple Passive Electronics & Cavity Shielding upgrades includes copper shielding of cavities, replace Chinese controls with CTS pots, Orange Drop caps, Switchcraft jack, bridge ground.
• Active Electronics upgrades for Preamps, etc.
• Pickup replacements and add rubber padding.
• Nut replacement with your choice of materials.
• Fret leveling, dressing, polishing, etc.
• Fretless fingerboard leveling and polishing.
• Defretting, lining, sealing and polishing.
• Deglossing back of Neck to reduce stickiness.
• Tuning Machine R&R or replacement.
• Deluxe Higher Mass Bridge replacent.
• String replacement. Silk sealing to stop fraying.
• Strap button replacement with Straploks.
• Body paint orange peel leveling and polishing.
• Stripping and repainting to your color choice.
• Headstock body color matching.
• Logo creation. Decals or hand lettered.
• Pickguard replacement (Aftermarket doesn't fit)
As you can see the list could probably go on and on. If you see something that isn't listed here I'm sure you won't hesitate to let me know.
I also look forward to hearing about any ideas you may have. I can pretty much take on creating any bass combination you'd like, including other makes and models.
