I want to clear this up immediately . . . due to how companies like Allparts lists their output jacks as input jacks. First of all, look at an "input" jack as being "male" and an output jack as female; that's the defining point right there. Sure, you put a jack into the hole on the bass, but the jack with the hole is NOT the input jack. The input jack is known as a "plug".   Need I go on~?   I think not.
