This is a project that began back in 2009, before the move to Florida, with the original concept being to build a Fender style bass that isn't offered by Fender or other bass builders. But let's get some history here first . . . for one, Dave started as a customer just like everyone else, paid his dues so to speak, but now has had several projects and knows how I work, which isn't easy for some folk as I have a tendency to ramble on . . . but that's just part of the communication/build process showing how things can evolve in a project that has no confines.

What do I mean by a project that has no confines~?   By the time a customer has had three or more basses rebuilt by me, chances are good it is because, first, the communication has been smooth flowing, meaning I never had to drag info from Dave or had to remind him the project is his and comminication is necessary by reading their project page . . . and two . . . because of this good communication, friendships emerge allowing me to forget about the money for labor on my end. It will cost Dave nothing, and not because he donated parts for me to be able to build a bass after I got down here either, but because, after three or more basses it is just my way of saying thank you.
